This Senior Product Manager role involves gathering customer experience insights to inform product requirements, analyzing research and market data for data-driven decisions, monitoring product profitability and budget, and leading agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. The role requires collaboration with content developers, data scientists, product designers, and user experience researchers to identify new opportunities. The individual must possess exceptional execution skills in a highly matrixed organization, understand how data from API calls, databases, and underlying technologies integrate into experience design, and collaborate with developers to simplify API integration while ensuring a reliable and flexible platform.

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exceptional execution skills in a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to understand how data from API calls, databases, and other underlying technologies fit into experience design
  • Ability to collaborate with developers on solutions
  • Ability to simplify how developers integrate with our APIs while ensuring a highly reliable and flexible platform

Responsibilities

  • Uses data to build insights on product or platform requirements consistent with the shared vision for the product
  • Gathers insights from the customer experience and customer needs to input to product requirements
  • Analyzes research, market analysis and usability studies, research and market analysis to support data-driven decision making
  • Monitors product profitability measures, including budget
  • Lead sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives to drive execution
  • Interfaces with product and technology leadership as needed
  • Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers to identify new opportunities
  • Own platform roadmap and productize reusable capabilities (APIs/services/configuration/orchestration) with clear contracts, governance, and adoption enablement for internal teams
