Senior Product Manager - Telecom

NVIDIA•Santa Clara, CA
•$208,000 - $327,750

About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to orchestrate development of the NVIDIA Aerial RAN Computer (ARC) product portfolio and its ecosystem. ARC is a high-performance, energy-efficient, 6G-ready accelerated computing platform for telecom networks, enabling commercial AI-RAN deployments and a path to AI-native 5G and 6G. It unifies AI and radio access workloads on software-defined accelerated infrastructure to improve performance, efficiency, and monetization. The Product Manager will drive the roadmap and deliver features that address customer needs. The role covers the product lifecycle for ARC products, from concept through launch and lifecycle management. It includes defining system-level requirements, prioritizing use cases and reference architectures, gathering insights from strategic customers and partners, and translating opportunities into product proposals and value propositions based on NVIDIA accelerated computing. The Product Manager will collaborate with partners, engineering, operations, field teams, and sales to develop solutions, go-to-market plans, positioning, and sales materials.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 12+ years of product management or similar experience, focused on different compute building blocks and overall solutions.
  • Knowledge of compute building blocks such as GPU, CPU, and DPU/NIC, and the ability to explain them.
  • Strong technical background in wireless communications and understanding of RAN (CU, DU, and RU) and networking architectures.
  • Desire to learn, motivation to tackle complex problems, and ability to make sophisticated trade-offs.
  • Outstanding communication and project management skills; highly organized and able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Detailed understanding of how RAN building blocks (CU, DU, and RU) interact across different splits (7.2x / CAT-A / CAT-B, ULPI, and eCPRI/CPRI fronthaul).
  • Experience with TCO analysis of telecom deployments and functional trade-offs between baseband (CU+DU) and radio (RU).
  • Direct development experience with NVIDIA software (Aerial), hardware (GPU, CPU, NIC, DPU), and SDKs.
  • Successful product launches at telecom companies for 4G or 5G technology, covering both baseband (CU, DU) and radio (RU).

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Aerial team to drive the next wave of AI-RAN telecom products.
  • Manage the ARC product lifecycle from concept through launch and lifecycle management.
  • Understand and articulate the value propositions of AI-RAN for telecom deployments across RAN elements (CU, DU, and RU), covering 5G and 6G.
  • Define system-level product requirements (PRDs) and prioritize use cases and reference architectures for verticals including C-RAN, D-RAN, and 6G research platforms.
  • Use insights from strategic customers and partners to define, prioritize, and complete product roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities to address customer needs and translate them into accelerated-computing value propositions and product proposals involving GPU, CPU, and DPU/NIC.
  • Collaborate with partners, engineering, operations, and field teams to define solutions and develop comprehensive product go-to-market plans and positioning.
  • Work with sales to develop effective sales collateral and tools.
