Sr. Product Manager

Hatz AINew York, NY
$150,000 - $220,000Hybrid

About The Position

Hatz AI is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for their AI-native platform. This role involves reshaping how Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and small-to-medium businesses use artificial intelligence. The Senior Product Manager will work at the intersection of AI research and customer needs, collaborating with engineers and designers to develop impactful products. This is a high-ownership, high-impact position for individuals who can transform ambiguity into momentum and complexity into clarity.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of product management experience or adjacent product-building experience (e.g., founding engineer with heavy product ownership, growth PM, or technical program management).
  • BA/BS in a technical, analytical, or related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Fluency with core AI/LLM concepts including prompting, fine-tuning, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and model evaluation — and the practical judgment to translate these capabilities into reliable, user-facing products.
  • Proven ability to lead small, cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals with urgency and a strong bias toward action.
  • Sharp prioritization instincts — comfort operating in environments where everything feels important and the ability to cut through noise to focus on what moves the needle.
  • Proficiency with modern prototyping and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Notion, Linear, or equivalents).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — including the ability to tell a clear, compelling story to engineers, executives, and customers alike.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience building AI-powered products from 0→1 or scaling them through meaningful growth stages.
  • Comfort in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments with frequent product releases and an appetite for iteration.
  • "Vibe coding" familiarity — you've experimented with AI-assisted development tools or no-code/low-code environments to prototype ideas yourself.
  • Experience in the MSP, IT services, or SMB software space — you understand the operational realities of these customers.
  • Scrappy, resourceful, get-it-done energy — you don't wait for permission or perfect conditions; you figure it out.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, owning the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for Hatz AI's core products, making prioritization decisions that balance near-term execution with long-term differentiation.
  • Lead high-velocity product cycles by partnering closely with engineers and designers to maintain a weekly release cadence without sacrificing quality or user experience.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by conducting ongoing discovery with MSPs and SMB users, synthesizing insights into problem statements, and translating them into intuitive product experiences.
  • Apply AI deeply and deliberately by staying current with emerging LLMs, AI research, and industry trends, evaluating new capabilities, and identifying where they create genuine product value.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment by rallying engineers, designers, and stakeholders around shared goals with clarity and urgency.
  • Balance intuition with evidence by using data, user feedback, and product judgment, knowing when to run experiments and when to make decisions.
  • Shape how the company builds by contributing to the evolution of Hatz AI's product management practices, establishing scalable processes, frameworks, and culture.
  • Prototype and iterate rapidly using modern design and prototyping tools to explore ideas, communicate concepts visually, and collaborate in shared design environments.
