Fifth DimensionNew York, NY

About The Position

Fifth Dimension is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own product end-to-end for a critical area within their AI workspace. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and customers, focusing on shipping polished products that drive adoption and revenue. The ideal candidate is a builder who can handle all aspects of product development, from ideation and prototyping to scope calls and decision-making, backed by a strong commercial instinct. This is a senior individual-contributor role with no direct reports, emphasizing impact through shipped product and high standards.

Requirements

  • Shipped AI product that real customers use, with real opinions on agentic systems, evaluations, and probabilistic output.
  • Deep personal AI craft, AI-native in your own workflow (e.g. Claude and AI-native tooling, shipping small code changes yourself), not AI as a novelty.
  • A commercial mindset, measuring success on adoption and revenue, and understanding how enterprise buyers evaluate, adopt, and expand.
  • Proven ability to act as a builder, having shipped product personally in the last 12 months.
  • Experience opening Figma, writing briefs, prototyping, cutting scope, and making product decisions.
  • Battle-tested in high-stakes customer conversations, including renewals, dealing with broken products, and managing promises made and kept.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup pace environment with high ownership, comfort with ambiguity, curiosity, and active communication.
  • Ability to bring just enough process to stay consistent.

Nice To Haves

  • Domain knowledge in a specialist professional field such as real estate, finance, legal, insurance, healthcare, or construction.
  • Experience with complex data products, extraction, search, intelligence, analytics, beyond pure SaaS CRUD.
  • Platform instinct, thinking in systems, APIs, skills, and compounding.
  • Ability to touch code, enough to prototype or unblock yourself.

Responsibilities

  • Own and ship a product area end-to-end, from customer insight to pixel-level delivery, working closely with engineering.
  • Translate product vision and live customer feedback into sharp, shipped product, including cutting scope and making critical decisions.
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their needs, particularly in high-stakes situations like renewals or addressing broken workflows.
  • Drive product adoption and revenue by sharpening product demonstrations and sales enablement.
  • Invent and develop AI-native product features, including agentic workflows, streaming outputs, document intelligence, confidence signals, and human-AI collaboration.
  • Implement light, reliable processes for consistent communication and alignment among founders, engineering, and customers without causing delays.

Benefits

  • Meaningful equity on a standard vesting schedule
  • 401(k) plan (US) or enhanced pension contributions (UK)
  • Generous paid time off
  • Health, dental, and life insurance (US) or private healthcare via BUPA (UK)
  • Enhanced parental leave: 14 weeks for the primary caregiver, 6 weeks for the secondary caregiver
  • Tailored support for exceptional challenges
  • 2-week all-company December shutdown
