About The Position

CreditSights is currently seeking a Product Owner based out of our New York City office. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • experience with product management tools (e.g.,Jira, Trello)
  • basic understanding of software development
  • working knowledge of APIs and how systems integrate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions e.g. familiarity with performance metrics like DORA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for understanding and addressing customer needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI technologies is a plus.
  • Experience in financial information services industry
  • familiarity with UX/UI principles and design thinking
  • experience working with remote teams.
  • APIs (RESTful services)
  • MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is up-to-date and reflects the current business priorities.
  • Develop detailed user stories and establish acceptance criteria to ensure stories are ready for development.
  • Run agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that stories meet the definition of done and acceptance criteria.
  • Discuss features with customers, focusing on usability, time to value, feature completeness, and the overall user journey.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design to prototype features, conduct A/B testing, and validate designs with end users.
  • Handle issues with current features and provide solutions based on customer feedback.
  • Track and analyze product performance metrics e.g. team productivity, product adoption, feature performance.
  • This role would focus on collection, analysis, and reporting as well as implementing improvements at the squad level.
