About The Position

The Senior Product Manager is the category leader responsible for championing the long-term growth strategy for ITW Mechanical Fastening's concrete anchoring portfolio. In this role, you will help shape the vision, roadmap, and investment priorities for a market-leading category while balancing customer needs, market opportunities, technical capabilities, and business objectives. Working across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Marketing, you will serve as the voice of the customer, voice of the market, and voice of the business throughout the product development and commercialization process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of product management, category management, or related commercial leadership experience with demonstrated ownership of product strategy, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience developing business cases, evaluating market opportunities, and translating customer insights into growth strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to evaluate portfolio performance, market opportunities, business cases, and investment tradeoffs.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Experience leading new product development efforts from concept through commercialization.
  • Experience in construction products, industrial products, manufacturing, or related markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the long-term growth strategy for the concrete anchoring portfolio through a multi-year product roadmap that balances innovation, portfolio optimization, customer needs, and business priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through customer engagement, market research, competitive analysis, and deep understanding of end-user needs.
  • Lead Customer Back Innovation efforts by building business cases, defining value propositions, and driving new product commercialization through cross-functional stage-gate processes.
  • Manage products throughout their lifecycle, including pricing, positioning, portfolio optimization, product enhancements, and rationalization decisions.
  • Partner across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align priorities, influence decision-making, and successfully execute portfolio initiatives.
  • Present strategic recommendations, portfolio performance insights, and growth opportunities to division leadership while driving alignment around category priorities.
