About The Position

We are the Windows Cloud organization at Microsoft, building cloud-enabled personal computing solutions for the future. Our product, Windows 365, is a cloud service that streams the full Windows experience to any device, making it a secure and productive solution for businesses of all sizes. Since its general availability in August 2021, Windows 365 has gained millions of active users globally across thousands of enterprise customers. We have exciting new opportunities within the Windows 365 engineering team to develop new capabilities for our core products, leveraging modern technologies to provide virtualized apps and desktops hosted on Azure. As a Senior Product Manager, you will demonstrate leadership at both business and technology levels, extending your knowledge of desktop virtualization and technical areas including Windows, Office, and our cloud-based management suite, while driving product improvements into Azure and M365. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • A track record of shipping and cross group collaboration.
  • Experience working on OS, software and services or similarly deep technological areas.
  • Proficient in documentation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in business programs is a plus.
  • Proficient in Platform management.
  • Experience in financial lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with end users and IT admins in commercial customers and partners to gather and prioritize requirements to help them successfully migrate their workloads to the cloud, where they can remain productive, secure, and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate closely with the Windows 365 engineering team as well as other engineering teams at Microsoft (e.g. Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure, Windows, Office, Microsoft Endpoint Manager).
  • Define the vision and value proposition of certain feature areas, collect customer requirements, define the scenarios, and drive the feature crews to deliver and validate the solution.
  • Work closely with other internal teams outside of engineering such as marketing, finance, and sales.
