Senior Product Manager, User Acquisition

RevenueCat
$230,000 - $230,000Remote

About The Position

RevenueCat is seeking a Senior Product Manager, User Acquisition to explore and define a new product area focused on helping app developers acquire more of the right users. This is a unique "zero-to-one" role where you will be the first dedicated product hire for user acquisition, reporting to the product lead for Ads. You will have significant autonomy to shape the strategy and products, deeply understanding developer needs, identifying opportunities for RevenueCat to solve problems better, and translating insights into testable products. The role leverages RevenueCat's existing advantages, including relationships with developers, visibility into monetization data, embedded infrastructure, and a growing advertising business, to create unique value in app growth. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of product or growth experience, deep hands-on mobile user acquisition expertise, a strong understanding of the mobile acquisition stack and performance marketing economics, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments. Technical proficiency and clear communication skills are essential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience owning meaningful product or growth decisions end-to-end (title may vary, e.g., Product Manager, founder, growth leader).
  • Deep, hands-on experience with mobile user acquisition (directly managing/optimizing or building products/infrastructure for acquisition teams).
  • Understanding of how app developers acquire users, measure performance, and make spending decisions.
  • Understanding of the modern mobile acquisition stack, including MMPs and attribution, Apple Ads, Meta and Google advertising products, conversion APIs, and measurement infrastructure.
  • Clear reasoning about attribution, performance-marketing economics, and privacy (e.g., CAC, LTV, ROAS, ATT, SKAdNetwork/AdAttributionKit, consent management).
  • Ability to thrive in zero-to-one environments: take ambiguous opportunities, identify key questions, narrow into product bets, and pragmatically test them.
  • Sufficient technical ability to work closely with engineering on integrations, APIs, SDKs, data flows, identity, attribution, and technical product decisions.
  • Clear communication skills across different audiences and media, particularly in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand how app developers acquire users today, evaluate acquisition performance, and identify pain points.
  • Build a deep understanding of RevenueCat's existing acquisition-related products, integrations, data, customer research, and technical capabilities.
  • Build strong working relationships with engineering, design, data, go-to-market, and other product teams.
  • Develop a clear picture of the acquisition ecosystem and identify where RevenueCat is well-positioned to solve problems.
  • Formulate a point of view on where RevenueCat can create differentiated value in user acquisition.
  • Narrow the broad user acquisition opportunity into concrete product hypotheses.
  • Make clear recommendations on focus areas and validate directions through prototypes, design partners, technical exploration, or product experiments.
  • Establish a learning agenda to address key risks and unanswered questions.
  • Align senior stakeholders around testing strategies and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Ship substantive user acquisition product bets or generate evidence to pivot/stop them.
  • Drive product discovery, prioritization, and execution for the user acquisition area.
  • Develop an evidence-backed point of view on promising opportunities and required capabilities.
  • Establish a clear strategic direction for user acquisition supported by customer behavior and product evidence.
  • Ship meaningful products or experiments that create value for developers or materially change understanding of the opportunity.
  • Develop a credible long-term roadmap for user acquisition.
  • Serve as the primary IC product owner for User Acquisition and the internal domain expert.
  • Help define how RevenueCat's monetization data, developer footprint, and advertising capabilities can create a differentiated position in app growth.
