About The Position

Do you have a passion for building high impact, customer facing experiences for
tens of millions of customers? If so, come join Amazon's tablet team to help
build the future of the tablet user interface. We are hiring a Senior Technical
Product Manager to create personalized experiences on the device that delight
customers using a combination of advanced machine learning models and an
intuitive user interface. The products you build will be high-impact and high
visibility; helping tablet customers discover new content and get the most out
of their devices.
You will work closely with software engineers, designers, scientists,
go-to-market teams, and executives to bring the future of the tablet UI to
customers. This role will focus not only on what customers see on their device,
but how they interact with their tablet, the technical architecture that enables
the features, and the business value the experience delivers. A successful
candidate will be analytical, empathetic, and adept at solving complex problems
with simple products customers love.
The Amazon Devices team designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics,
including the best-selling Kindle, Fire TV, and Echo. Our tablets are among the
most popular consumer electronics devices on the market, with easy access to
millions of apps, games, movies, books, and more. It is just Day 1 for Amazon
devices and we are looking for proven, customer-centric product leaders to help
continue to innovate and grow our device business.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Responsibilities
