About The Position

We are the global leader in cybersecurity, and Strata Cloud Manager is the "brain" of our network security platform. This is a high-visibility role where you will define the standards for reliability and innovation in a market that never stops evolving. As a Senior Product Manager for Strata Cloud Manager, you will build a scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient engine that powers Palo Alto Networks’ security services globally. This role is designed for a platform-focused product manager who understands the intersection of network security domain expertise and the mechanics of massive-scale SaaS infrastructure. You will leverage AI and Agentic workflows to automate platform operations and simplify the complexity of network security management, all while maintaining a relentless focus on the unit economics and profitability of our SaaS delivery. Whether you are optimizing cost or pioneering "self-healing" platform agents, your work will directly impact the resiliency and success of our largest enterprise customers.

Requirements

• Technical Foundation: BS/MS in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• SaaS PM Expertise: 5-8+ years of product management experience (leveling dependent on experience), specifically within SaaS Platform/Infrastructure organizations.
• Network Security Domain: Direct, professional experience in the Network or Network Security domain (e.g., experience with firewalls, routing/switching, VPNs, or cloud security posture).
• Scale & Resiliency: Proven track record of managing platforms with high-availability requirements, complex multi-tenancy, and large-scale data sets.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of SaaS business models, including cost-to-serve, profitability analysis, and infrastructure optimization.
• Target Background: Prior experience at major cloud providers or top-tier network security companies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Platform Scale & Reliability: Define the strategy for platform architecture to support massive scale, focusing on seamless customer onboarding, robust multi-tenancy models, and sophisticated inventory management for global network environments.
• AI-Driven Agentic Workflows: Integrate AI/ML to automate platform health, lifecycle management, and network security support flows, moving from reactive management to proactive, agent-led operations.
• Network Security Domain Excellence: Apply deep knowledge of network security (Firewalls, SASE, SD-WAN) to build a platform that intuitively handles the complexities of security policy, device connectivity, and threat management at scale.
• SaaS Economics & Profitability: Act as the business owner for platform costs. Drive initiatives to optimize costs, improve resource utilization, and ensure the long-term profitability of the SaaS offering.
• Inventory & Identity Architecture: Lead the vision for how large-scale enterprise assets—from hardware firewalls to virtual appliances—are discovered, managed, and secured across the Strata ecosystem.
• Future-Proofing Initiatives: Identify gaps in platform resiliency and look "around the corner" to build capabilities that anticipate the needs of Fortune 100-scale deployments.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Engineering, SRE, and Finance to balance rapid feature velocity with platform stability and margin targets.
