About The Position

The Senior Product Manager, Quality Systems Informatics leads new product development and sustaining activities for a family of diagnostic instrumentation and/or software throughout the product lifecycle, from opportunity definition through launch, sustainment, and obsolescence. The role is primarily internal (approximately 80%) and partners with R&D, Global Supply Chain, and Quality/Regulatory to renew and execute the systems roadmap, develop requirements and business cases grounded in customer needs, and plan obsolescence. It translates portfolio and product-line strategy and market inputs into target product profiles and system-level requirements, and prioritizes cross-functional sustaining work that protects customer experience and installed-base value. As the day-to-day owner of systems NPD and sustaining execution, the role ensures investments are well characterized, commercially sound, and focused on portfolio value, including platform adoption, supply continuity, product quality, and cost to serve. The position must be based in Irvine, California, within commuting distance of the office.
