About The Position

Natera's RWD platform at the clinic connects an ecosystem of real-world evidence, molecular data, and clinical insights to deliver actionable information to physicians. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help build and scale physician-facing RWD applications. We seek to unlock the full potential of real-world data to improve treatment outcomes and make molecular results actionable in everyday treatment decisions. In this role, you'll own a physician-facing RWD application for a patient's molecular and clinical journey and workflow integrations behind it, partnering with cross-functional product teams, engineering, AI/ML teams, and clinical teams to deliver intuitive tools centered on enriched patient insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management or related experience, including experience in healthcare, engineering, genomics, or AI/ML.
  • Deep understanding of the oncology domain with direct experience building requirements and collaborating with physicians.
  • Experience building clinician-facing software that fits into real clinical workflows.
  • Experience delivering AI/LLM-derived clinical data into provider-facing products, including human-in-the-loop review, confidence labeling, and data transparency.
  • Backlog ownership: writing and grooming user stories in Jira and driving PM perspective in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retros).
  • Hands-on with data: comfortable writing SQL (or equivalent) to check status, investigate issues, and measure outcomes, and in the habit of asking 'is this correct, and are we ready to ship?’
  • Track record of setting product KPIs and moving them, with specifics on adoption, engagement, and quality.
  • Fluency in oncology / genomics clinical concepts (staging, lines of therapy, biomarkers, MRD/ctDNA).
  • Commitment to user-centered design thinking, with a track record of translating user needs into intuitive and impactful product experiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with clinical, technical, and commercial audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Using AI tools day to day to prototype and draft specs.
  • EHR integration experience (SMART on FHIR, HL7/FHIR, Epic or other EHR app ecosystems).
  • Strong technical fluency; comfortable working with engineers, scientists, and data teams, and reasoning about what AI/ML and LLMs can and can't reliably do.
  • Familiarity with PHI-handling applications, HIPAA, or regulated clinical software.
  • Familiarity with FDA clinical decision support or SaMD considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Advance Data Integration and Intelligence: Collaborate with clinical product management, EMR, user experience product management, marketing, medical and a broad cross functional team to drive product strategy and roadmap.
  • Drive integration of genomic tests into the platform (Signatera/ctDNA, hereditary risk, tumor/normal and NGS profiling, liquid CGP, etc.) as part of a unified oncology digitized experience.
  • Work closely with AI/ML teams to build applications for patient-level insights and clinic-level insights, including cohort comparison, clinical trial matching, and cohort analytics back to individual patient care.
  • Partner with legal, privacy, and security so HIPAA obligations, PHI handling, and data-governance requirements are designed into the product.
  • Elevate the User Experience: Own the single- and multi-patient views that bring a patient's molecular results and clinical events together in one physician-facing application.
  • Integrate AI-powered clinical trial matching that connects patients and physicians to the most relevant investigational therapies based on molecular, clinical, and patient criteria.
  • Help reduce friction points at both the provider and patient level to enroll in clinical trials.
  • Partner across Natera to enable EMR/EHR integration and mobile access, ensuring seamless experiences for providers.
  • Contribute to an analytics framework that captures user analytics and informs continuous product development.
  • Enhance the Utility of Genomic Testing: Support delivery of a physician-facing platform that highlights therapies, tracks treatment response, and monitors disease progression in real time.
  • Ship tools and functionality to aid physician collaboration.
  • Connect molecular and clinical findings to relevant treatment pathways and outcomes data to make testing more actionable at the point of care.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, MSL, Sales, and Clinical Operations on enablement, training, and adoption.
  • Launch the De-Identified Aggregated Research Platform for Health Systems: Partner with the Health Systems BU to define, build, and launch a de-identified, aggregated research platform that turns clinic data into a health-system-wide resource for precision medicine and research.
  • Engage Key Stakeholders: Engage with physicians, KOLs, and academic collaborators to translate clinical needs into features.
  • Help track KPIs centered on the physician experience with RWD at the clinic.
  • Support representation of RWD at the clinic at conferences, industry forums, and customer discussions as needed.

  • Free testing for employees and their immediate families.
  • Fertility care benefits.
  • Pregnancy and baby bonding leave.
