About The Position

Clio is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its FinTech Team, focusing on payments. FinTech is a key area of investment and growth for the company. This role will shape the trajectory of the payments product, leveraging honed product management skills and experience in the Fintech space. The position can be performed remotely across Canada or the US, with some exceptions. Clio's mission is to 'transform the legal experience for all,' appealing to mission-driven product managers. Requirements

  • A fintech background (payments, billing, and accounting preferred) with solid financial literacy skills.
  • Experience autonomously developing a strategic roadmap with measurable business impact.
  • Significant successes and failures under your belt, with learnings to bring to Clio.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team without ego.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Experience using data to inform decisions without succumbing to analysis paralysis.
  • Ability to thrive and deliver while surrounded by chaos and ambiguity.
  • Genuine ability to put yourself in our customers’ shoes and operate from a place of empathy.

Responsibilities

  • Drive successful outputs and outcomes in the product area in conjunction with Developer and Designer counterparts.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap in conjunction with peers, based on overarching strategy from the Senior Director of Product, to move the business forward.
  • Evangelize the strategic roadmap throughout the company.
  • Drive customer and market research.
  • Identify opportunities.
  • Develop unbiased business cases.
  • Determine priorities to help Clio best deliver on its mission and against annual OKRs.
  • Build conviction in chosen initiatives and be willing to pivot when priorities change or new information arises.
  • Be the expert on the user through constant communication with customers (existing, churned, and prospect).
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the markets in which Clio operates.
  • Complement customer understanding with deep quantitative data.
  • Coach and mentor other Product Managers in their craft.
  • Contribute to the continuous up-leveling of the product function as a whole, in conjunction with product leadership.
  • Participate in building and scaling a payments business.
  • Self-serve answers, insights, and data from a variety of data analytics tools.
