About The Position

Scopely is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Live Ops & Monetization - Marvel Strike Force to join their Marvel Strike Force team remotely. This role involves owning a specific performance vector within the game, such as Battle Pass, Character Launch Monetization, or Limited-Time Events. The ideal candidate will be a hybrid of Product Manager and Analyst, comfortable with A/B testing and SQL queries. The responsibilities include defining strategy, setting aggressive targets, and ensuring their achievement through analytical insights. The role requires end-to-end ownership of a critical part of the Marvel Strike Force ecosystem, including defining roadmaps, setting and tracking OKRs/KPIs, using SQL for player analysis, designing and executing A/B tests, and iteratively optimizing features for revenue and retention while maintaining player sentiment.

Requirements

  • Strong preference for candidates with a background in Data Analysis or Economy who have transitioned into Product Management, or are looking to make the transition.
  • High proficiency in SQL is non-negotiable.
  • Significant experience in free-to-play mobile games, specifically owning live features or monetization systems.
  • Proven track record of using A/B testing and hypothesis-driven development to move core business metrics.
  • Experience working within OKR frameworks and comfort with accountability for specific revenue and engagement targets.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Tableau for performance visualization.
  • Deep knowledge of Squad RPGs or Hero Collectors.
  • Experience managing complex progression-based monetization (e.g., Battle Passes, Shard-based economies).

Responsibilities

  • Take full accountability for a specific business vertical, defining its roadmap and ensuring integration with the broader live operations and monetization strategy.
  • Define, track, and hit OKRs and KPIs, setting ambitious targets and building tactical plans to achieve them.
  • Use SQL to deep-dive into player segments, identifying friction points and growth opportunities.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments to optimize offer conversion, event engagement, and feature spend.
  • Monitor live results daily, iterating on tuning and rewards to maximize short-term revenue and long-term retention.
  • Ensure specific vectors drive meaningful monetization without cannibalizing other systems or damaging player sentiment.
