About The Position

Apollo.io is seeking a Senior Product Manager to focus on customer expansion. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth by optimizing in-product experiences that encourage customers to add seats, purchase more credits, attach add-ons, or upgrade their plans. The Product Manager will be part of a Squad, collaborating with Product Designers, Data Scientists, Engineers, and partnering with Activation, Free-to-Paid, and Pricing & Packaging teams to ensure a cohesive monetization experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven experience in SaaS product management, with end-to-end product ownership and demonstrated outcomes.
  • High agency and strong ownership, with the ability to create clarity in ambiguous environments and drive work forward independently.
  • Track record of unlocking revenue through impactful problem-solving.
  • Strong product judgment, with the ability to focus on high-leverage problems, make tradeoffs, and prioritize effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Customer empathy, optimizing for user speed and confidence.
  • Ability to influence without authority, communicate clearly, build trust, and elevate team members.
  • Excellent execution skills, including defining, shipping, measuring, and iterating.
  • Technical fluency to engage credibly with engineering on performance, reliability, and integrations.
  • Experience as an AI-native builder, prototyping with tools like Claude Code and Cursor, and a history of shipping AI-driven features.

Nice To Haves

  • Domain experience in PLG, monetization, billing, or expansion surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Own the team invite and joiner experience to convert new seats into active, paying users.
  • Develop the admin upgrade request flow to capture user needs for more resources.
  • Implement credit and plan upsells triggered by deeper and more habitual usage.
  • Create hand-offs that guide qualified teams to Apollo's sales team.
  • Develop reporting to identify areas of expansion health and leakage.
