About The Position

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the Checkout & Payments domain across Regal’s web and native instances. This role sits at the center of revenue generation, responsible for delivering fast, reliable, and high-converting checkout experiences while ensuring secure and scalable payment operations. As part of a growing digital technology team, you will lead the strategy and execution of end-to-end checkout and payment flows, including ownership of our payment processor relationship. You will optimize authorization rates, conversion, and overall revenue performance while balancing fraud risk and customer experience. This role requires strong product judgment in critical areas where small changes in UX, configuration, or payment routing can materially impact business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2C product management experience, with strong ownership of checkout, payments, or ecommerce flows.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end payment systems, including authorization, capture, settlement, and refunds.
  • Proven ability to improve authorization rates, conversion, and revenue performance in a live transaction environment.
  • Experience managing payment processors and vendors
  • Strong familiarity with fraud mitigation strategies, tools, and tradeoffs (e.g. rules engines, risk scoring, 3DS).
  • Experience running A/B tests and making data-driven decisions in high-volume environments.
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance, payment security standards, and data privacy considerations.
  • Experience with digital wallets and mobile payment methods (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo).
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional partners and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience working across Web, iOS, and Android product ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and execution skills.

  • Experience with subscription billing and recurring payments.
  • Strong preference for B2C

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product strategy for checkout and payments across web and native experiences.
  • Own the payment processor relationship and performance, including authorization optimization and issue resolution.
  • Drive improvements in checkout conversion, payment success rates, and revenue capture.
  • Balance revenue optimization with fraud mitigation through effective use of risk tools, rules, and controls.
  • Lead A/B testing and experimentation to optimize checkout UX, payment methods, and flows.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Fraud/Risk, Marketing, and Customer Support to deliver seamless experiences.
  • Collaborate with Design and Design Research to improve usability, reduce friction, and build trust in payment flows.
