About The Position

What is the opportunity? In this role you will support the Director by providing strategic direction and ensure sound portfolio management of the suite of all Payments (non-cards) & Ancillary Services for all segments. This includes domestic and international Funds Transfers, Drafts, Biller Solutions, Standing Orders, Business (Night) Depository Services, Payroll, Remittances, FX Solutions, Correspondent Banking and Custodial Services such as Safety Deposit Boxes. The position is key to the business and overall to Caribbean Banking’s strategic priorities related to developing exceptional client value while making it easy for clients. What will you do? Develop business cases and obtain approval and funding to execute initiatives for new product development, feature / functionality enhancements and product rationalization Lead the end-to-end product development and implementation of strategic product initiatives Prioritize projects with highest profit potential and strategic alignment Ensure development of target state product suite Develop packages to support client segment strategy Recommend strategic investments in technology to deliver product requirements. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, develop and implement project deliverables and provide business requirements and subject matter expertise for projects Develop and execute rate and fee pricing strategies for assigned products Regularly review pricing relative to costs, risks, value offered, competitors and other triggers Develop and amend policies relating to the entire suite of Non-card payment products and ancillary services. What do you need to succeed? Must Have: University Degree and extensive related work experience Minimum seven (7) years in Financial Services Industry, three to five (3-5) of which must be at managerial level Subject matter expertise in ACH and payments industry across the Caribbean region People management experience preferred Ability to think strategically, bifurcate complex problems and communicate effectively with all levels within RBC and with external stakeholders including Regulators. Ability to effectively share ideas and capture the attention of your audience through different tools and tactics Nice to Have: MBA or similar designation What's in it for you? Requirements

  • University Degree and extensive related work experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years in Financial Services Industry, three to five (3-5) of which must be at managerial level
  • Subject matter expertise in ACH and payments industry across the Caribbean region
  • People management experience preferred
