About The Position

This is a product-led growth role within the go-to-market team, focused on increasing the conversion rate of accountants and bookkeepers who start the journey to becoming a Xero partner. The role involves analyzing data across all channels, identifying bottlenecks in the partner onboarding process, and designing/executing experiments to improve engagement and conversion. The goal is to turn engaged users into confident, revenue-generating partners. This includes developing segmented strategies for digital-only experiences, digital assistance, and one-to-one approaches based on partner needs. The position carries a commercial target for net new partner revenue.

Requirements

  • A clear example of identifying a data-driven issue in an experience, implementing a fix, and measuring the commercial outcome.
  • Proficiency in experimentation, including designing A/B tests, analyzing results, and deciding on scaling or stopping strategies.
  • Strong data analysis skills, utilizing funnel analytics, behavioral signals, customer segmentation, and propensity models.
  • Curiosity about customer behavior, particularly accountants and bookkeepers, to understand segment nuances for effective targeting.
  • Ability to influence Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams without formal authority.
  • Organizational skills to manage long-term programs across multiple teams.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action ('Go Fast' by shipping, learning, and refining).
  • Experience in a SaaS or AI business is ideal.
  • Skills, passion, and a unique perspective to enhance culture and team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data across product experience, digital outreach, and sales conversations to identify partner onboarding friction points.
  • Formulate hypotheses, design experiments (e.g., A/B tests), and measure incremental revenue generated.
  • Optimize onboarding processes by removing unnecessary steps, simplifying difficult ones, or re-engaging users to complete the process.
  • Determine the appropriate intervention strategy (digital, human, or hybrid) for different onboarding challenges.
  • Develop repeatable processes and segmented models to personalize the partner experience.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to drive growth initiatives.
  • Manage a long program of work across multiple teams.
  • Contribute to scaling successful onboarding experiments.
  • Assist in building predictive models for partner engagement.
  • Test and integrate new onboarding channels like agentic outreach, voice, and live chat.
  • Connect partner onboarding to broader business objectives, including adoption across multiple Xero products and platforms.
