Senior Product Engineer

About The Position

This role involves leading and contributing to greenfield projects, developing new features and products from scratch. Engineering is a team effort; we produce our best work together. Work closely with our product and support teams to ensure we are solving the right problems. Have high empathy for our users, consistently seek feedback and iterate on our products to improve their experience. (We go on-site on with customers to see our software in use first-hand). Make daily decisions on when we should invest in more sound architecture, leverage vendors and integrations or cut corners and scope to deliver functionality to our customers. Participate in a lean and fast-moving development process that is consistently iterated and improved upon. Report directly to the CTO.

Requirements

AI-forward: Actively use AI tools to move faster and integrate AI into product workflows
Take end-to-end ownership
High-caliber full-stack engineer (Senior/Staff/Principal level)
Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern web engineering
Fluent in core technologies across the stack (TypeScript, Next.js / Vercel, Planetscale (MySQL), React, Tailwind CSS, MaterialUI, GitHub)
Strong architectural judgment
Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teammates
Product sense: intuition to prioritize what matters, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and ship iteratively
Comfortable operating in ambiguity
Track record of shipping meaningful product in small, high-velocity teams
