About The Position

Our CRM OU is looking for a Sr Product Development Program Manager. Our Cardiac Rhythm Management Integrated Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. We are comprised of four key businesses: Cardiac Pacing Therapies, Defibrillation Solutions, Patient Management, and Procedure Innovations. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure. We are working onsite a minimum of 4 days per week as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, math or a technical discipline AND minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, OR advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • The employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
  • The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
  • Roles below the Principal level require candidates to possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

  • Experience leading within matrix organizations requiring strong influence management skills, with the desire to develop collaborative relationships with program level core team and multiple functional organizations

Responsibilities

  • Lead or leverage cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies
  • Oversee and manage the development aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between development, quality, business units, operations and manufacturing sites
  • Manage the development and implementation of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes
  • Manage the project budget and schedules and prepares weekly status reports
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members, site leaders, and others as deemed necessary
  • Work with a team to gather, elicit, plan, implement and manage requirements to ensure they meet the demands of key project stakeholders
  • Communicate with stakeholders and obtain stakeholder engagement to ensure the end product or process will solve the business problem
