Senior Product Developer
About The Position
The Product Development organization at SharkNinja drives the global product roadmap from concept to shelf, focusing on consumer satisfaction and business results. The Senior Product Developer supports the development and ongoing management of successful, profitable programs for key Shark product lines. The role owns day-to-day business management and product enhancement, including product improvements, user research, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a continued five-star consumer experience. The position serves as a consumer advocate in defining and iterating product specifications, takes ownership of assigned categories’ sales performance, and provides competitive and consumer insights to guide current and next-generation products. It also partners with Testing and Quality teams to develop and manage quality and performance testing procedures and serves as a product expert for cross-functional colleagues.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field; experience at a consumer goods company is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a combination of these fields.
- Consumer-first perspective when introducing new products or processes and improving existing products.
- Ability to build relationships across multifunctional teams and strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly effective written and face-to-face communication skills, including presentation and email writing, facilitating concise problem-solving conversations, and presenting to all levels of management.
- Strong project management skills, including prioritizing, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to learn and grow in a passionate environment.
- Ability to embrace transparency and shifting priorities, learn from decisions, and focus on the path forward.

Responsibilities
- Support development of successful and profitable programs for key products and manage assigned Shark product lines day to day.
- Drive product improvements and optimizations, conduct user research, and work with Engineers, Marketers, and other partners to roll out enhancements.
- Define, develop, and iterate product specifications based on consumer needs, market opportunities, and product technologies.
- Own sales performance for assigned categories and collaborate across the company to identify successful and underperforming products and recommend opportunities.
- Lead competitive product analyses and provide business partners with insights into SharkNinja’s position and opportunities to improve.
- Share consumer and market insights from legacy product lines with Product Developers working on new product development.
- Partner with Testing and Quality organizations to define, develop, and manage quality and performance testing procedures.
- Act as the product expert for cross-functional team members.
