Senior Product Designer
About The Position
PracticeTek is seeking a Senior Product Designer to play a critical role in shaping the user experience for their Chiropractic, Wellness, and Oral Healthcare products. The role focuses on innovating and integrating AI solutions into flagship products, redesigning core user interfaces, scaling multiple product design systems, and enhancing the ease and efficiency for practitioners to run their businesses and for patients to manage their treatments, appointments, and communication. The position requires a customer-centric, data-informed, and results-driven designer who can work cross-functionally to translate customer insights into UX requirements, prioritize effectively, and drive execution for measurable outcomes. Self-starters with initiative in problem-solving and self-training are essential, as PracticeTek operates with a startup mentality in many aspects. The role demands a skilled UX professional who combines user research, strategy, interaction design, and visual design to deliver polished and practical solutions, thriving in fast-paced environments with the ability to context-switch between multiple projects. A background in graphic design, design foundations, and experience designing with AI is considered a significant advantage.
Requirements
- 6+ years of UX/product design experience in a SaaS or software product environment working across web and mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions across web and mobile applications including B2B and B2C.
- Proficiency in design, prototyping, design systems and AI products.
- Well experienced using Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop and various AI tools.
- Experience conducting moderated and unmoderated user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Ability to communicate design concepts clearly to product and leadership.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and responsive design.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for great design.
- Strong visual design skills to not only make products functional and user friendly but also visually appealing and delightful through elevated UI and interaction.
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
- Background in graphic design, design foundations and experience designing with AI is a big plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers to help own the strategy and UX roadmap for Chiropractic, Wellness and Oral Healthcare capabilities, aligned with business goals and customer needs.
- Design end-to-end user experiences and workflows that align with product strategy and roadmaps.
- Utilize AI in day-to-day design processes for creating components, UIs, new features, and product design strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to define requirements and create elegant solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to guide design and strategy decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Bring AB testing ideas to the table while presenting designs to help understand the business and user impact of designs.
- Ensure design consistency, usability, and accessibility across Practicetek products through maintaining and contributing to a shared design system.
- Co-own creating and managing design system components for products.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify pain points to continuously optimize UX experiences for products and maintain a UX roadmap backlog.
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and user-centered design across the organization.
- Define and track design-related KPIs to measure success for informing future design decisions.
- Assess business and user risks associated across UX initiatives.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies across a range of healthcare markets and AI technologies/trends.
