About The Position

At Bumble, we’re on a mission to create a world where healthy relationships are built on respect and equality. The Bumble Date Design Team brings that mission to life by shaping experiences that help millions of people connect with confidence, authenticity, and joy. Requirements

  • Experienced end-to-end product designer with a proven track record of delivering thoughtful, high-quality mobile product experiences from ambiguity through to launch.
  • Strong product thinking, framing problems before jumping to solutions, connecting design decisions to user and business outcomes, and thinking in systems as confidently as you think about individual screens.
  • Exceptional visual design, interaction design, and prototyping craft, producing work that is polished, purposeful, and grounded in a deep understanding of human-centered design.
  • Rigor to your design process, combining research, experimentation, prototyping, and iteration to solve complex product challenges with clarity and confidence.
  • Balance user empathy with commercial pragmatism, knowing when to advocate for the ideal experience and when to make thoughtful trade-offs that maximize impact.
  • Highly proficient in Figma and modern prototyping tools, using them not only to communicate ideas but to explore, validate, and refine solutions.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility standards, and designing for a global audience across different cultures, needs, and contexts.
  • Curious about AI's role in product design and confidently use AI-enabled tools to improve your workflow while applying critical thinking, ethical judgment, and human-centered decision-making.
  • Build trusted cross-functional relationships, communicate with clarity, take ownership of outcomes, and positively influence the quality of work through collaboration and thoughtful feedback.
  • Typically requires 5–8 years of experience, though we welcome candidates with alternative backgrounds that demonstrate equivalent skills.
