This Senior Product Designer role will be central to shaping the visual and interaction design across Robinhood’s product ecosystem, working from concept to launch on new systems while maintaining a cohesive design identity. The role emphasizes delivering best-in-class craft, with opportunities for prototyping and motion design. A key aspect of this role is an AI-first approach to design, expecting candidates to already integrate AI into their workflow. The position is based in Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY offices, requiring in-person attendance at least 3 days per week, emphasizing the company's belief in the power of in-person work for innovation and community.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a product designer with a strong visual design portfolio.
• Demonstrated success designing consumer-facing products, ideally in fintech or adjacent spaces.
• Experience taking products from concept to launch.
• Active use of AI in your design workflow - you already use LLMs to think through problems, explore approaches, and move faster.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to build and maintain scalable design systems.

Responsibilities

• Use AI to explore problem spaces, surface edge cases, stress-test ideas, and generate early prototypes, guiding intent, structure, and quality.
• Drive end-to-end design of key features across our products and experiences.
• Create visually compelling, cohesive designs that elevate our user experience.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Product, Engineering, Content, and Research.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system.
• Help set the standard for design craft and product excellence across the team.
