About The Position

This is an XD Senior Product Designer role for Consumer Digital Channels. Our team designs experiences that people love and confidently engage to improve their financial lives. We work closely with Technology and Product Management to ensure we are problem-driven (versus solution) and customer-first. While we have individual expertise across product design, research, content strategy, and design operations, we all operate as empowered leaders with strong design rationale. As a team, we care about each other yet believe in radical candor, want to have fun while we work, and are obsessed with what’s most important to our 30+ million customers and incorporating their voices into every decision!

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Hands-on experience designing UX and UI in Figma
  • Strong visual design skills showcasing your ability to solve for complex problems in a delightful way
  • Understanding of front-end development fundamentals (HTML/CSS concepts, responsive design) to facilitate cross-functional partnership and tech-informed designs
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn and adapt as AI and emerging capabilities reshape how we design products
  • Ability to consistently articulate a strong design rationale; storytelling skills that compel stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer-experience solutions for Wells Fargo’s app and website
  • Manage the design, creation, and production of customer-experience elements from product concept through completion, including product updates and revisions
  • Apply emerging AI‑enhanced workflows to accelerate ideation, execution, and quality of design output
  • Develop and execute customer-experience solutions by employing a broad array of user centered design tools including: customer experience brief, site design strategy, wireframes or visual mockups, site layouts, site maps, taxonomies, navigation schematics, task flows, design briefs, key screens, templates, prototypes
  • Review and analyze high-profile or complex projects and may lead projects or teams of user-centered design specialists
  • Develop new research and test theories that lead to alternative, leading edge design solutions
  • Analyze relevant internal and external sites and consult standards and guidelines as well as policies to determine best practices
  • Exercise independent judgment to guide risk deliverables
  • Design, develop, test, and refine prototypes
  • Lead team to meet key milestone deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of business, user, and technical requirements
  • Develop and oversee planning and execution of projects, production schedules, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
