About The Position

Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Product Designer for Grafana Cloud’s Knowledge Graph. This remote role is based in the United States, with East Coast candidates preferred and other time zones considered for exceptional candidates. The designer will work within a distributed Product Design organization of more than 25 designers, researchers, engineers, and design leaders, as part of a 100% remote R&D organization. Proactive communication, collaboration, facilitation, and relationship-building are essential. The role focuses on designing experiences for Grafana Cloud’s context layer, including its entity graph, entity catalog, and RCA workbench. Knowledge Graph discovers services, infrastructure, and databases from existing telemetry, maps their dependencies, and runs anomaly detection, helping engineers, SREs, and their agents understand systems and resolve incidents faster without relying on queries or manually maintained alert rules. The designer will develop deep expertise in the product area, customer and user personas, use cases, and workflows, and create tailored, role-driven experiences. They will also contribute to the Product Design organization by coaching and mentoring designers, collaborating on internal initiatives, and helping evolve how the team works and learns as it grows.
