About The Position

Wander is seeking a Senior Product Designer with strong visual craft to help shape the company's brand and customer-facing product experiences. The role is split roughly evenly between brand and product and involves close partnership with the brand designer, Product, and Engineering. This is a hands-on individual-contributor position, with most of the week spent creating and shipping work.

The designer will help establish Wander's visual language through motion, illustration, and iconography; create intuitive experiences across web and mobile; and develop brand moments for travelers and operators, including campaigns, ads, launch assets, events, and presentations. The role is remote in the US. Applicants should include a portfolio featuring shipped product work and motion, illustration, and icon samples.

Requirements

• Exceptional visual craft, including a strong eye for typography, composition, color, and interaction design.
• Depth in motion or illustration, strength in the other, and the ability to create a clean, consistent icon set.
• Experience shipping consumer products on web and mobile.
• Strong product thinking and the ability to turn complex problems into simple, intuitive experiences.
• A hands-on builder's mindset, including prototyping and exploring ideas in Figma.
• Care deeply about design details and polished execution.
• Strong collaboration skills and a portfolio that includes shipped product work, plus motion, illustration, and icon samples.

Responsibilities

• Help establish a distinctive visual language for Wander through motion, illustration, and iconography.
• Design beautiful, intuitive, customer-facing experiences across web and mobile.
• Create brand moments for travelers and operators, including campaigns, ads, launch assets, events, and presentations.
• Ship polished, customer-facing UI for wander.com and the Wander app.
• Collaborate with the brand designer and partner closely with Product and Engineering.
• Prototype and explore ideas in Figma, experiment with AI, and bring concepts to life with tools such as Vercel.
