About The Position

Trust & Will is seeking a Senior Product Designer II to join their Professionals squad, focusing on shaping the platform used by financial advisors, attorneys, and nonprofit partners to help millions of families with estate planning. This role involves end-to-end ownership of complex, multi-sided design problems, from research to delivery, within the fastest-growing part of the business. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, possesses strong visual design skills, can influence stakeholders, and is excited about leveraging AI in design. A passion for the company's mission of making estate planning accessible and inclusive is crucial.

Requirements

7+ years in product design with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, clear design thinking, and shipped work across web and mobile, including AI-powered experiences.
Proven experience on B2B or platform products with multiple, distinct user types.
Ability to work 0-to-1 on new product areas or audience segments.
Hands-on fluency with AI tools in your actual workflow.
Fluency in Figma.
Meaningful experience contributing to or owning a design system.
Track record of shipping high-quality work on time with edge cases considered.
Strong communicator who can advocate for design decisions with PMs, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Experience working in a high-growth startup and/or fintech or regulated consumer product.

Responsibilities

Understand what actually needs solving through research, interviews, and behavioral data.
Synthesize research findings into a clear point of view for the team.
Influence the product roadmap by collaborating with Product Managers and bringing user needs into decision-making.
Own complex, multi-sided design problems end-to-end, considering both advisor and client perspectives.
Apply sophisticated visual design sensibility to create a product that earns the trust of professionals.
Make smart tradeoffs balancing scope, effort, and opportunity cost with Product and Engineering.
Integrate AI tools into the design workflow for research synthesis, concept generation, and prototyping.
Design AI-powered features with care, considering their capabilities and limitations.
Help extend the design system by building reusable patterns.
Contribute to the team's growth by sharing design thinking and elevating craft and process.
Participate actively in critiques and bring energy that elevates the group.
