About The Position

The Senior Product Business Analyst is a strategic driver of digital delivery within our QSR eCommerce application development practice. Operating across complex digital initiatives, this role bridges business strategy and technical execution — translating customer and commercial objectives into high-quality, prioritized requirements that mobilize our engineering to deliver our digital ordering, loyalty, and delivery platforms. The Senior Product BA sets the standard for requirements excellence, leads stakeholder engagement at an executive level, and actively contributes to the maturity and capability of the broader BA community of practice.

Requirements

  • 7–9 years of Business Analysis experience, with at least 3 years in digital/eCommerce application delivery.
  • Deep expertise in Agile delivery — Scrum, Kanban, and scaled frameworks (SAFe or Scrum of Scrums).
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and facilitate complex multi-team workshops.
  • Strong command of requirements tools: JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
  • Experience in QSR, quick-service food delivery, loyalty platforms, or consumer-facing mobile/web applications.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to support evidence-based decision making (SQL, Excel, BI tools such as Tableau).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — able to adapt style from engineering team to exec stakeholder.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with QSR digital ordering platforms, POS integrations, loyalty & rewards systems, or third-party delivery aggregator APIs.
  • Familiarity with payment processing, digital wallet integrations, or personalization engines.
  • Exposure to UI/UX design processes and usability testing.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior BAs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end requirements elicitation across complex eCommerce initiatives
  • Define and own epics, features, and user stories following INVEST principles — ensuring every item is traceable to a business outcome and prioritized against the critical path.
  • Work with business stakeholders to Drive ruthless backlog prioritization
  • Assess functional and non-functional requirements including performance, accessibility, and security considerations for consumer-facing eCommerce platforms.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement at senior and executive levels — facilitating workshops, presenting recommendations, and influencing prioritization decisions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between product, technology, and commercial teams — ensuring alignment across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Manage competing stakeholder priorities with confidence, navigating ambiguity, and escalating decisions where appropriate.
  • Produce and maintain stakeholder communication plans, ensuring transparency on scope, progress, and trade-offs.
  • Analyze eCommerce performance data — conversion rates, Average ticket value, order completion, loyalty redemption — to surface opportunities and inform backlog decisions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics for digital initiatives, establishing feedback loops that connect delivery to measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and embed lessons learned into future delivery cycles.
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects, engineering leads, and delivery managers to design scalable, customer-centric solutions.
  • Evaluate solution options against business needs, assessing feasibility, cost, and strategic alignment before recommendation.
  • Drive proof-of-concept and prototyping activities to validate assumptions early and reduce delivery risk.
  • Ensure change impact assessments are completed for all significant scope changes, protecting critical-path delivery and team capacity.
  • Define acceptance criteria and test scenarios aligned to business value and customer experience outcomes.
  • Lead UAT planning and execution, coordinating with business representatives and QA teams to validate digital ordering and loyalty features.
  • Champion quality standards within the team — ensuring defects in priority areas are identified and resolved rapidly.
  • Contribute to and help shape the BA & TDM Community of Practice — defining templates, standards, and ways of working.
  • Mentor and coach BA II practitioners, providing structured feedback and supporting their professional development.
  • Champion data-driven decision making within the CoP — establishing shared metrics and reporting standards across BA practice.
