About The Position

The Connected Commerce Payments organization is a motivated, forward-thinking team of highly talented product managers focused on delivering innovative payment services via today's and tomorrow's most important platforms. We aim to transform customer experiences, simplify business processes, and drive product excellence. As a Senior Product Associate in the Small and Mid-sized Business Payments team, you are an integral part of the team that leads the end-to-end product life cycle for payments products that deliver value for small business customers. Leverage your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and improvement of existing offerings. You will manage backlogs, write epics and user stories, and collaborate with product and engineering partners across the payments organization to ensure the successful development and implementation of payment solutions.

Requirements

3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, business analysis, or a relevant domain area
Proficient in defining requirements and writing user stories, with clear use cases, acceptance criteria, and related technical details
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) for engaging with business and technical stakeholders and leadership
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze complex business processes
Understanding of development processes, application integration, database usage, and AWS microservices (e.g., Kafka, APIs)
Proficient with JIRA, Microsoft Office tools, and Confluence

Responsibilities

Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development, in coordination with the Product Manager and engineering, research, design, and content partners
Collaborate with Agility Leads to run successful Release Planning and Sprint Planning sessions, as well as Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
Conduct pre-release reviews, including regression testing and quality assurance, to certify releases as production-ready, along with production validation
Work closely with Product Manager, developers, operations, and production support teams to research and resolve issues or defects that impact the customer experience
