About The Position

The Senior Product and Segment Manager owns the growth, profitability, and long-term strategy for Power Management across Mobile, Edge AI, and Robotics within Teradyne’s Semiconductor Test business. This leader defines segment strategy, drives product and platform roadmaps, and partners cross-functionally to deliver differentiated test solutions. The role works closely with engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and executive leadership while engaging directly with customers ranging from emerging innovators to Tier-1 semiconductor companies.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in semiconductor marketing, product management, or sales with demonstrated ownership of complex portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of power management devices and the semiconductor ecosystem.
  • Technical background in ATE test development and semiconductor device testing preferred.
  • Proven ability to define strategy, build business cases, and manage end-to-end product lifecycles from concept through launch, sustainment, and end-of-life.
  • Experience translating market requirements and customer needs into engineering requirements, priorities, and trade-offs.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence across engineering, sales, operations, and marketing.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize market, financial, and execution data for senior leadership decision-making.
  • BS, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • MBA preferred, or equivalent managerial experience.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creation and execution of the product and platform roadmap for Mobile Power Management test solutions.
  • Develop and execute a 4-year segment strategy and business plan covering revenue growth, market share, and profitability.
  • Collaborate across engineering, sales, operations, marketing, and executive leadership to align priorities, trade-offs, and roadmap investments.
  • Build strong relationships with emerging and strategic customers globally in close partnership with sales.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews, executive updates, and investor-facing materials by synthesizing market, financial, and execution data.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to translate market requirements into clear engineering requirements and differentiated solutions.
  • Sustain segment financial performance through ownership of revenue growth, gross margin, lifecycle planning, and long-term profitability.
