About The Position

The Senior Producer leads the planning and execution of meetings, events, and digital programs, ensuring each project is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. This role oversees projects with defined scope, schedules, budgets, and billable components, using strong project management, communication, and leadership skills to drive successful outcomes. This individual is responsible for developing and managing budgets and timelines, proactively identifying and resolving challenges, and creating communication plans that keep stakeholders aligned. The Senior Producer oversees all aspects of production and logistics, ensuring seamless execution across multiple concurrent projects. Additional responsibilities include evaluating project objectives, preparing for program launches and events, managing vendor relationships and costs, and serving as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners. Success in this fast-paced environment requires strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Producer or Project Manager.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing event budgets and schedules.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, leading to repeat client business.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Jackson Dawson in client meetings and provide consultative support for business development initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including creation, tracking, vendor bidding, invoice processing, expense reporting, and client billing.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within or under budget.
  • Provide end-to-end project management support, including statement of work (SOW) creation, schedule development, tracking, and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure all deliverables are completed successfully.
  • Source, select, and manage external vendors, facilitators, and production resources.
  • Oversee logistics planning and coordination, including vendors, venues, and on-site execution.
  • Participate in client meetings (remote and in-person as needed).
  • Lead and support the development of large-scale client programs.
  • Partner with creative, account, and production teams to deliver high-quality work.
  • Establish supplier relationships and procurement best practices to maximize ROI and program effectiveness.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations outlining project plans, timelines, and logistics.
  • Develop event plans, including scope, schedules, and resource requirements, with accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts to optimize cost savings while minimizing risk and liability.
  • Hire, supervise, and coordinate vendors, event staff, and consultants.
  • Lead execution of event logistics plans and timelines; assign tasks and evaluate outcomes post-event.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of brand details, including product specifications, campaigns, and legal requirements.
