About the position
Free Range Games is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Producer to manage teams on their biggest game. As a part of a veteran development team, the Senior Producer will prioritize community, family, and love-of-gaming in an anti-corporate atmosphere. They will work closely with the Production Director and the rest of the production team to oversee various aspects of the game's product development cycle, from concept to release. The Senior Producer will be responsible for establishing efficient pipelines, leading cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring high quality, and fostering internal communication. They will also be involved in task prioritization, resource coordination, and problem-solving to ensure the smooth running of the team.
Responsibilities
- Ability to support the Production Director in the oversight of a 100+ team
- Establish/improve pipelines to maximize efficiency and design implementation
- Proactively identify and mitigate bottlenecks to keep the team running smoothly
- Lead day-to-day production of cross-disciplinary teams
- Work with the team to gather estimates, compose schedules, and track progress
- Ensure high quality by reviewing the game as a potential customer
- Communicate constantly with the team and foster internal communication
- Manage time efficiently with task prioritization, resource coordination, risk assessment, and proactive problem solving
- Work closely with the rest of the Production team and department leads, keeping them informed of any issues or needs
- Determine agendas and run efficient meetings
- Foster a positive team culture and an environment that motivates everyone to bring their best
Requirements

- Experience coordinating virtually distributed teams across different time zones and locations
- Not afraid to get "in the trenches" and be hands on while fostering a positive and creative environment
- Experience in managing a small production team on a wide variety of roles
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
