B-Stock•Boston, MA
•$100,000 - $130,000

About The Position

As B-Stock's first dedicated procurement hire, the Senior Procurement Specialist will own purchasing for software renewals, new tool requests, and indirect services contracts across the company. The role ensures vendor spend is appropriately priced and scoped, supported by a clear business case, and managed in line with company policy. The specialist will lead renewal negotiations and serve as the commercial lead with vendors while preserving business teams' day-to-day vendor relationships. The role will build procurement playbooks, approval workflows, and business-case frameworks so teams can buy efficiently within policy. It will also apply AI to contract review, benchmarking, and spend analysis, with the goal of developing a more automated procurement function. The position reports to the VP of Strategy & Business Operations and partners closely with Finance, Engineering, Legal, Accounts Payable, and business teams.
