About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Procurement Agent to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role involves issuing Requests for Proposals/Quotes, performing proposal fact-finding and Price and Cost Analysis, developing negotiation strategies utilizing supplier cost & pricing data, contract terms and conditions, and preparing contractual documents and binding agreements. The position also manages supplier performance to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and other key support to programs, while cultivating and maintaining supplier relationships. The role integrates program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies, and conducts risk, issues, and opportunities management. Additionally, the Senior Procurement Agent will initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies.

Requirements

  • More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
  • More than 3 years of experience working in a Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment
