About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Procurement Agent to join our team in Philadelphia, PA, St Louis City, MO or Mesa, AZ. This role provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. The Senior Procurement Agent leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions, prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements, and interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. They will consult with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues and lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Additionally, the role participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

Requirements

8+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
5+ years of experience leading projects from contract award through system requirements review, preliminary design review, critical design review, parts procurement, installation, testing, and delivery
5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
5+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
Domestic and international travel as needed
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project
Must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals

Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices
Ability to be self-directed in work and/or previous experience in a self-directed role

Partnering w/ Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for programs.

Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
