Senior Process Integration Engineer

Coherent Corp.•Sherman, TX

About The Position

The Senior Process Integration Engineer drives new product and process development to ensure timely qualification and successful launch. The role oversees development progress, supports the NPI team in establishing mask sets, process flows, and workflows for front-end wafer fabrication and back-end die assembly and characterization, and manages part numbers and bills of materials for new product introductions. The engineer leads failure analysis of issues identified during fabrication and characterization, coordinates production ramp-up readiness with cross-functional teams, and works with product engineering to improve yield and address characterization issues spanning multiple process areas. The role also designs and executes experiments to identify and implement corrective actions for failure modes. The position requires the ability to work in a cleanroom environment and with hazardous materials. Coherent describes itself as a global leader in lasers, engineered materials, and networking components, with vertically integrated manufacturing serving markets including industrial, optical communications, military, life sciences, semiconductor equipment, and consumer applications. The company highlights career development, a challenging work environment, competitive compensation, stability, and growth.
