Senior Process Engineer
About The Position
This role provides daily production support with a hands-on approach, focusing on evaluating defects, working with operators, and troubleshooting machinery. The engineer will also be responsible for training operators, documenting key process steps through work instructions, and supporting various processes including eutectic die attach, wire bonding, epoxy attach, gap welding, and PWB surface mount processes. A key aspect of the role involves improving processes through statistical data analysis and the application of process controls, tracking metrics, and establishing systems for continuous quality improvement. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to optimizing factory layout to enhance throughput, efficiency, and quality.
Requirements
- Hands-on approach to evaluating defects
- Ability to work with operators and troubleshoot machines
- Proficiency in training operators and writing work instructions
- Experience with eutectic die attach, wire bonding, epoxy attach, gap welding, and PWB surface mount processes
- Skills in statistical analysis of data and application of process controls
- Experience in tracking metrics and setting up systems for quality improvement
- Knowledge of factory layout optimization for throughput, efficiency, and quality
