About The Position

The Senior Principal Switch Architect will join Marvell’s Teralynx Switch Architecture team, which architects AI fabric and data center switch ASICs. The role helps shape next-generation switch ASICs from concept through development to production by defining features and protocols, collaborating with teams on implementation and testing, and performing detailed performance and behavioral modeling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 15+ years of related professional experience; alternatively, a Master’s or Ph.D. in one of these fields and 10–12 years of experience.
• Experience architecting, designing, and verifying complex ASICs.
• Deep knowledge and experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 forwarding, QoS, networking protocols, datapath, and traffic management.
• Strong conceptual thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and geographies.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
