About The Position

The Senior Principal Switch Architect will join Marvell’s Teralynx switch architecture team, which is responsible for the architecture of AI fabric and data center switch ASICs. The team’s work includes product architecture, behavioral modeling, performance modeling, and architecture validation. In this role, you will help shape next-generation switch ASICs from concept through development to production by defining features and protocols and collaborating with teams on implementation and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 15+ years of related professional experience, or a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 10–12 years of experience.
• Experience architecting, designing, and verifying complex ASICs.
• Deep knowledge and experience with Layer 2 / Layer 3 forwarding, QoS, networking protocols, datapath, and traffic management.
• Strong conceptual thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and geographies.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
