About The Position

The Product Manager for VME Services is responsible for defining, evolving, and scaling VME service offerings while increasing the team’s bandwidth to effectively respond to customer and sales escalations. This role serves as a key product point of contact for strategic customers, working closely with sales, customer success, support, and engineering to address critical issues, shape service requirements, and ensure customer needs are reflected in the product roadmap. The PM translates real-world usage, escalation learnings, and strategic customer feedback into actionable service improvements that drive reliability, adoption, and long-term customer value. HPE is looking for a Product Manager to help define and deliver the next generation of Virtualization platform - HPE VM Essentials. In this role, you will own key product capabilities from strategy through execution, working closely with engineering to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for enterprise customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field of study; MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
  • 10+ years of work experience in related field
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry.
  • Translation of technical requirements/functions into business value for the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core cloud and platform services
  • Partner closely with engineering to deliver high-quality features from concept to launch
  • Gather and prioritize customer, partner, and field feedback to inform product decisions
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success to support launches and adoption
  • Analyze usage data, customer insights, and market trends to guide prioritization
