About The Position

BAE Systems' Model Based Engineering Capability Group is seeking an MBSE expert to help advance Model Based Systems Engineering practices and the company's transition to a Digital Enterprise. The role champions Agile-MBSE best practices, provides MBSE training and technical guidance to programs across the ES Sector, and supports model development and process implementation. The position applies MBSE processes, practices, tools, modeling languages, and frameworks to solve complex technical problems and guide a program's total MBSE development activities. It also works with project teams and leadership to develop training materials and company best practices.

Requirements

Active Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 8+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or a master's degree in a STEM field and 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
At least 2 years of experience building models and developing modeling strategies using MBSE methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience with MagicDraw/Cameo and associated plug-ins.
Proficiency in UML, SysML, and other relevant modeling languages and frameworks.
Ability to create specialized searches and analyze problems through MBSE models.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Ability to contribute to MBSE training materials, best practices, and processes, and guide programs in their MBSE development activities.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing or supporting digital engineering solutions and technologies.
Direct experience building 2–4 full-scale models, including parametric functions and simulation execution.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies and task management tools such as Jira.
Experience in Modeling, Simulation, Visualization and Analysis (MSVA).
Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) experience.
Familiarity with Government Reference Architectures (GRAs).
Experience supporting all phases of the engineering product development lifecycle.
Classroom and on-the-job teaching experience.
Training material development experience.
Electronic warfare (EW) experience.

Responsibilities

Use knowledge of MBSE processes, practices, tools, modeling languages, and frameworks such as SysML, UML, and UAF to solve complex technical problems.
Guide a program in its total MBSE development activities.
Collaborate with project teams and leadership to develop MBSE training materials and company best practices.
Champion implementation of Agile-MBSE best practices and provide programs with MBSE training and technical guidance.
