About The Position

Priority Wire & Cable is seeking an experienced Senior Infor M3 / CSDE Consultant to join our Information Technology team as a full-time employee remotely or hybrid if located near our Little Rock,AR corporate headquarters or one of our other offices. Depending on experience, we will consider a higher level position. This is a high-impact, hands-on role at the center of our Infor CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise (CSDE) environment — including M3, Factory Track, and Rhythm for Commerce. You will lead end-to-end implementation, data conversion, testing, customizations, integrations, and ongoing support activities across multiple M3 functional areas, ensuring seamless business process optimization and broad system adoption across our 22-location distribution network. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of M3 implementation delivery, deep functional expertise across distribution business processes, and the interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships at every level of the organization — from warehouse floor to executive suite. If you are an experienced M3 consultant who is ready to move from project-to-project contract work into a stable, full-time internal role where your contributions have lasting and visible impact, this is that opportunity.

Requirements

  • Deep functional expertise in at least two of the following M3 business streams: Manufacturing, Warehousing, Procurement, Sales, Finance.
  • Strong SQL skills and practical database management experience — including writing queries, troubleshooting data issues, and supporting data migration efforts.
  • Working knowledge of ERP integrations, API frameworks, and cloud-based ERP deployment models.
  • Familiarity with Infor implementation methodologies — Infor Deployment Method (IDM), Implementation Accelerators (60:30:10 approach), or Infor Agility.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable, practical ERP solutions without over-customizing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — with the credibility and presence to present to executives and guide end-users with equal effectiveness.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities; ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without losing detail.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with minimal bureaucratic overhead.
  • 5-8+ years of ERP experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in Infor M3.
  • Demonstrated participation in a minimum of 1–2 full end-to-end Infor M3 implementation projects (not just post-go-live support) — from business requirements through go-live.
  • Hands-on post-implementation experience supporting and optimizing M3 in a production environment.
  • Prior experience in the distribution, wholesale, or supply chain industry — understanding of distribution-specific processes such as order management, inventory, warehouse operations, and procurement is required.
  • Candidates must be 18 years or older and able to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
  • Job functions require long periods of sitting and working from computer workstation; ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize daily workload; excellent organization and record keeping skills; comfortable with oral and written communications. Requires extended periods of sitting, normal walking, bending, twisting, and stretching. Capability of sight and hearing required. Ability to deal with stressful situations and occasionally working extended hours.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Nice To Haves

  • 12+ years of ERP experience overall, with a minimum of 8 years specifically in Infor M3.
  • Minimum 3–5 completed end-to-end Infor M3 implementation projects with demonstrated leadership accountability — not just participation — across the full project lifecycle.
  • Expert-level functional knowledge across the full CSDE stack, with deep expertise in at least three M3 business streams: Warehousing, Procurement, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing.
  • Advanced SQL and database management skills — data modeling, query optimization, data migration design, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with M3 APIs (MvxAPI / MAK) and CSDE scripting/customization tools.
  • Experience with Infor Factory Track — specifically Warehouse Mobility and/or Shop Floor modules including M3 integration design and configuration.
  • Experience with Infor Rhythm for Commerce — B2B e-commerce platform with M3 integration for real-time inventory, pricing, order management, or document reviews.
  • Experience with Infor ION integration platform and Infor Ming.le/OS.
  • Prior experience in CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise (CSDE) — not just legacy on-premise M3.
  • Multi-tenant cloud experience — migration experience transitioning from on-premise or hosted ERP to multi-tenant SaaS. Experience with multi-tenant cloud ERP environments, Infor OS / Ming.le, and CSDE release management.
  • Infor certifications or formal Infor partner training.
  • Familiarity with data lake architecture and business intelligence tooling connected to CSDE (e.g., Infor Birst, DBeaver with Infor Compass JDBC, or equivalent). Background working within a distribution company's internal IT department (as opposed to exclusively consulting roles). Background in wire, cable, electrical, or industrial distribution highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior internal advisor — influencing decisions, driving alignment, and managing competing stakeholder priorities without formal authority over all parties.
  • Track record of mentoring junior practitioners and building team ERP capability over time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Infor M3 / CSDE implementation project from requirements through go-live and post-production support.
  • Configure and optimize M3 modules across assigned business streams — including Warehousing, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing — aligned to Priority Wire & Cable's distribution operations.
  • Develop data conversion ETL scripts and procedures.
  • Apply Infor implementation methodologies (Infor Deployment Method, Implementation Accelerators, Infor Agility framework) to ensure structured, repeatable project delivery.
  • Develop and execute conference room pilots, user acceptance testing plans, and go-live cutover strategies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders across operations, finance, sales, and procurement to gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, supportable M3 solutions — balancing standard configuration with targeted customization.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within CSDE and proactively recommend solutions that drive operational efficiency across our distribution network.
  • Develop fit-gap analyses and functional design documents for customizations, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Manage and support ERP integrations between CSDE components (M3, Factory Track, Rhythm for Commerce) and external systems — including EDI, third-party logistics, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Leverage Infor ION and related middleware tools to design and troubleshoot integration workflows.
  • Apply strong SQL and database management skills to support data migration, reporting, data validation, and root-cause analysis of system issues.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure, network, and development teams to ensure stable, performant cloud deployments.
  • Design and deliver end-user training programs and supporting documentation for M3 functional areas.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 application support for CSDE — diagnosing, escalating, and resolving issues with urgency and clear communication.
  • Act as a trusted subject matter expert and internal consultant for business users across all Priority Wire & Cable locations.
  • Manage project workstreams, timelines, and deliverables — balancing hands-on execution with clear stakeholder communication and executive reporting.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, business stakeholders, and Infor partner resources at all levels.
  • Contribute to IT governance, change management processes, and ERP roadmap planning in partnership with the VP of IT.
