About The Position

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is hiring a full-time Senior Pricing Analyst for its Supply Chain team, based at the Bridgeton, Missouri facility. The role may be performed in person or on a hybrid schedule. It supports Department of Defense proposals by developing costing strategies, costed bills of materials, material bases of estimates, and supporting analyses. The analyst partners with proposal and program management teams to align material estimates with bid strategy and ensure submissions are competitive and compliant.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in DoD procurement, material planning, or estimating in an aerospace or defense production environment.
Proficiency with ERP systems, strong data-analysis skills, and familiarity with material estimating and proposal processes.
Knowledge of supply chain management tools and procedures, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and make decisions.
Understanding of DoD estimating requirements.
Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct material cost estimating, analyze price reasonableness, and prepare internal supporting documentation using Deltek Costpoint, IBM Cognos, Microsoft Excel, and Deltek ProPricer.
Collaborate with purchasing and engineering to optimize material estimates, determine supplier quoting strategies, and ensure estimates are comprehensive.
Prepare material bases of estimate for proposal submissions.
Support contract negotiations with updated estimates and disclose cost or pricing data as required.
After contract award, provide the program execution team with artifacts detailing the awarded material basis of estimate by part number.
Maintain cost traceability connecting supplier quotes, historical data, and pricing rationale to proposal submissions for audit readiness and transparency.
Compare target costs with proposal costs and work with Supply Chain Management on ways to meet targets.
Support and present material estimates to functional teams and executive-level management.
Support and communicate the company’s mission, values, and culture, and maintain professional relationships with internal customers.
Assist department staff with analyses in the area of expertise.
Provide routine status updates and track outstanding actions and issues.
Identify creative ways to improve purchasing’s contribution to company goals.
Review requests for proposals and assist the proposal team in developing responses.
Compare estimates with previous cost experience and recommend adjustments.
Guide the team and senior management on new-business cost proposals, including RFP, FAR, CAS, and disclosure compliance issues.
Establish and coordinate schedules, monitor and escalate problems, and develop cost and price models.
Assist with pricing cost narratives, price strategy, risk assessments, business case analyses, and management briefings.
