Requirements

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop preconstruction professionals.
Deep technical expertise in electrical construction methods, materials, systems, and relevant codes (e.g., NEC).
Proven ability to manage multiple complex preconstruction projects concurrently, meeting stringent deadlines and quality standards.
Advanced proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, LiveCount) and construction management platforms.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including clients and executives.
Strategic mindset with a focus on value engineering, risk mitigation, and innovative problem-solving.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, effectively bridging communication between office, field, and client teams.

Nice To Haves

Certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
Expert knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical construction practices, labor units, and market conditions across various regions.

Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive preconstruction efforts for large-scale, complex electrical projects, including design-build, design-assist, and competitive bid pursuits.
Direct and mentor preconstruction teams, fostering professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality estimates and proposals.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact during the preconstruction phase, presenting proposals, and negotiating contracts.
Conduct in-depth constructability reviews, value engineering analyses, and risk assessments to optimize project scope, schedule, and budget.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Operations, Engineering, and field teams to ensure seamless project transitions and alignment with execution strategies.
Utilize advanced estimating software and techniques to prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost proposals for diverse electrical systems and installations.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contractual documents to identify scope gaps, opportunities, and potential risks, developing mitigation strategies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Rosendin's preconstruction processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
