Working on the Department of War critical technology areas offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the forefront of advancing national defense capabilities in areas such as Quantum and Battlefield Information Dominance, Applied AI, Biomanufacturing, and more. As a Senior PPBE Analyst supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Critical Technologies, you will have the opportunity to do the following:

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field
10 years of relevant work experience and demonstrated knowledge of the Defense PPBE process is required.
Current DoD Secret security clearance
U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Defense project management or project management support as a contractor is highly desired
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advanced experience with Teams and SharePoint is preferred

Responsibilities

Advise on issues related to the Defense budget for Critical Technology Portfolios.
Conduct research and analysis on PPBE and budget topics as needed.
Work with Government leads to review and track program plans.
Work with finance personnel to track execution.
Support outreach by coordinating and engaging with key partners in the RDT&E community including government laboratories, industry, academia, FFRDCs, UARCs, and international partners.
Prepare and edit briefings, reports, white papers, and other business and technical products in support of senior leadership decision-making.
