About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our business intelligence solutions. Expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and DAX is essential. Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, and optimization, are needed to extract and transform data and help establish BI best practices across the organization. This role involves working with on-prem Oracle data sources and cloud sources on Databricks. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to define KPIs, dimensions, and fact tables. The position requires building semantic layers and star schemas to enable intuitive, high-performance analytics, and developing optimized Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports. You will also define and enforce best practices for data modeling, governance, and security (Row-Level Security, data masking, and access control), and provide mentorship and architectural guidance to BI developers and analysts.
