Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field required; MBA or advance degree preferred
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred
  • 10-20 Years of industry experience
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role focused on strategic relationship management within the financial services industry required
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-asset class portfolios for clients within agreed parameters, restrictions and regulatory frameworks.
  • This position requires excellent communications and interpersonal skills which include relationship development, listening, oral and written communication, decision making, organizing, executing and implementing plans, team building and work coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client portfolios by developing and implementing investment strategies aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, Investment Policy Statements (IPS), and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation, risk, and manager selection, while staying informed on macroeconomic trends, capital markets, and geopolitical developments.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, portfolio reviews, and thoughtful investment guidance.
  • Develop customized, tax-efficient portfolio solutions, including tax-loss harvesting, asset location, capital gains management, concentrated position strategies, and tax-efficient withdrawals.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, investment professionals, tax advisors, attorneys, and estate planning professionals to deliver comprehensive wealth and fiduciary solutions.
  • Partner with the Investment Committee and broader investment team on asset allocation, portfolio strategy, investment recommendations, and market insights.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the firm's tax-efficient investing and tax diversification strategies, including evaluating external providers and solutions.
  • Support business development and firm growth through RFPs, industry and community involvement, client education, and collaboration with sales, marketing, and internal teams
