About The Position

The Senior Platform Specialist is the primary resource for business users seeking assistance with advanced projects, changes, issues, and problems involving the platform. Lineage is beginning a global rollout of the Blue Yonder (BY) TMS platform, and this role will contribute to its successful deployment and ongoing maintenance. The position requires experience with TM and TMOD and a global perspective. This role combines business analysis, platform expertise, and program/project management to lead the platform rollout and support the business after launch. The specialist applies deep TMS expertise, especially in Blue Yonder, and knowledge of supply chain logistics to develop or coordinate solutions with cross-functional teams. The role also helps manage service-level agreements (SLAs) and enhancement needs during steady-state operations. The Senior Platform Specialist helps shape application and platform strategy and the project portfolio by gathering demand from business areas and bringing forward innovative technical solutions for consideration. This is a remote position. Lineage is unable to sponsor employment authorization now or in the future.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of Blue Yonder TMS SaaS solutions and implementation or upgrade experience.
In-depth knowledge of TMOD and TM within Blue Yonder.
Strong understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes.
Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, situations, and deadlines.
Ability to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements.
Experience managing business complexity, project interdependencies, and organizational change.
Intellectual curiosity and ability to question thought partners across functional areas.
Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving, including quickly troubleshooting transportation business problems.
Ability to partner with internal and external technical subject matter experts to identify resolution paths.
Strong understanding of basic systems engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.
In-depth understanding of software development lifecycles, such as Agile and Waterfall.
At least 12 years of IT experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a business area.

Responsibilities

Learn the core business processes across Lineage’s global trucking markets and the systems and manual processes that support them.
Develop and maintain relationships with business and IT stakeholders to understand and influence key decisions.
Partner with business and technology teams to elicit, analyze, translate, and document requirements, and drive solutions.
Evaluate analysis, problem definitions, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions to determine operational feasibility.
Determine platform solutions or configurations by studying user needs, systems flows, data usage, and work processes.
Work with executive and senior leaders to create and maintain an operating plan that supports the strategic vision and defines people, processes, tools, and technology.
Support evaluation of functionality in existing and proposed applications to ensure solutions are optimized for quality and ongoing support.
Design and maintain integrations between the Blue Yonder platform and other standard or strategic global solutions; evaluate non-standard integration needs.
Manage delivery of configuration and development work to address business requirements and guide the business toward appropriate solutions.
Coordinate testing, documentation, and training with business areas.
Coordinate project resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Help ensure IT systems have appropriate support and maintenance, and participate in major incident management processes.
Help ensure appropriate licensing agreements for COTS/SaaS applications, cost management, and timely renewals.
Help ensure appropriate SOX controls and security protocols for systems within the Redistribution division.
Monitor system performance and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
Stay current on industry trends and advancements in transportation management systems.
