About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer for its Infrastructure Planning and Capacity Management organization in Nashville, Tennessee. The team develops platforms, services, workflows, operational tooling, cloud-native services, data pipelines, and analytics that support planning, sourcing, deploying, and managing capacity across Oracle’s global cloud infrastructure. These systems support engineering, operations, supply chain, and finance teams. The engineer independently designs, develops, tests, and operates software components and services for infrastructure planning and capacity management. The role owns moderately complex platform components or SDK areas, evolves contracts for multi-tenant use, improves integration frameworks and developer tooling, and debugs bounded distributed-service graphs. It also analyzes usage, performance, and error budgets; implements resilience and capacity improvements; and creates team-scoped documentation and adoption guidance. The role involves software design and development, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, API lifecycle and interoperability work, performance and scalability improvements, customer issue resolution, secure coding, and system maintenance. The position is onsite five days per week in Nashville. Relocation assistance is available; the position is not remote.
